I was recently interviewed by GP and Medical Educator, Dr Sam Manger, all about the medical treatment of Parkinson’s disease. It is aimed at GPs primarily, but goes through a lot of different aspects of Parkinson’s. I talk about a wide range of aspects of Parkinson’s, from the underlying problem in the brain to surgery and including lifestyle measures.
Exercise is a very important aspect of therapy in patients with Parkinson’s disease, which I emphasise to all my patients and have written about before.
Listen to it here. Let me know your thoughts.
More information on Parkinson’s disease is available on my website here, as well as previous posts on Parkinson’s disease and exercise, the future of gene therapy in Parkinson’s disease and the link to Parkinson’s NSW is here.
