Researchers screening for effect on brain cells have found at least two possible new drugs that they may trial in Multiple Sclerosis.

One is a widely used antifungal drug, the other a steroid. These may then enter early stage trials in humans.

They were screened by using a mouse model of an MS like disease and show promise. The more options we have, the better.
